fuel pump problem

After replacing the resistor, I still had the problems. The strange thing though, is that the car hasn't stalled on me while I leave performance shift on. If I switch that off is when I start to notice problems, usually while accelerating quickly up between 40-50mph. The affect isn't noticed instantly upon switching it. Any insight?

you may have a tcc solenoid ( it controls torque converter lock up) getting sticky. When performance shift is on, the computer engages the shift solenoids more aggressively which may allow it to overcome the deposits making it respond slow in normal mode.

Know how much a replacement would cost? I've searched online, but I can't find any sellers.

the solenoids aren't expensive, they're just a bitch to get to. They are in the valve body, and require the side cover to be removed from the transaxle.
