engine cuts off in left turns !!! (p10)

just as the subject says
when my car is low on fuel (about 1/4 tank left), car has a tendancy to almost cut off. seems like the engine isn't getting gas through left turns ONLY. after accelerating, say, at a stop light, then making the left turn, engine seems to cut off, and many times i find myself flooring it just to keep it from cutting off...
seems like the faster i go, accelerating after making a U-turn, or sharper the turn, the higher the chance it'll cut off. it only does this for about 2-3 seconds, then either cuts off or kicks back in. this makes U-turns into oncoming traffic very tricky, not to mention dangerous.
anyone have an idea of what the hell is going on ????
just asking if anyone else had this type of problem before i take it to the shop, so i have an idea of what to expect.
thanks

This happens ONLY in a turn? Not when you are accelerating straight line?

yes, only in a LEFT turn (yeah i know it sounds odd)
i had a slight straight-line acceleration problem before this happened, a hesitation, but that has been fixed a while ago
whats a 93.5 G20 ?? different model than the '93?

I had this happen when I discovered that I had some how ripped a hole in my flex pipe. My car would act as if it were going to cut off in turns and sometime from stand still. I hope this aint the case.

The 93.5 G20 is the 93 with extra options. Kinda like honda makes SE accords at the end of the year instead of EX or whatever. Nissan / Infiniti doesn't badge it SE, just call it year.5

93.5 incorporated a good amount of changes.
You'll notice that the 93.5 is the first model to come with airbags, and therefore allowing nissan to take out those horrible auto seatbelts.
They added front power seats.
Auto trans was introduced.
New A/C coolant stuff.
And keyless entry.
