The night you OWNED the street races...lets here about it

Don't know if this has ever been a topic if so mods can delete or lock thread. Anyway if there was ever a night that you went undefeated at the street races. race after race NO ONE could beat you lets hear it. Here's my story. About 2 years ago when my 5.0 was just a bolt on daily driver. It ran 14.81 at that time. 1st race was against another 5.0 same color but had a crate 302 from ford racing. I smoked his ass HARD off the line (courtesty of 3.73 gears :) ) but eventually his power beat me by 3 solid car lengths. We raced to 90-100mph. After that an ass load of body kit equiped domestic 4's and import 4's gave it a shot. None could take me. I'd have to say the closest race i had with a 4 banger that night was a Civic hatchback. Not sure what he had done to it but i believe i heard ppl saying a b16 something, something, something. I beat a del sol, oh yeah and an integra put a good fight too. an LS, didn't hang as good as the hatchback civic but still fun as hell. I had beaten so many ppl that night that when i came up to the starting line for like the 100th time (not really just figure of speach :) ) People just quit lining up against me. Call BS all you want a high 14sec. car ruled the night that night. I'd have to say that was one of the funnest nights i've ever had in my car for sure. even better than racing at a real track. ok just thought i'd share anyone have a similiar story?

Best night was before the big race spot became hot for good cars, and was mostly ricers. The BMW was in the shop, so I was riding in my moms C320. After alot of arguing, I had convinced her to pop in an intake, convincing her that it was there to save gas.

So anyways, the night was only four races long, but awesome. First race was the average Civic punk. Spiky hair, ear rings, talking shit, you know what I mean. He comes up, looks at the car, and kicks, yes kicks, the tire. I'm about to beat the piss outa the little f*ck but a buddy holds me back. He talks some shit about how his mad Dragon Air Ram Intake System puts about 200hp on his car, I swear I think he was an AF.com n00b. So I ask him to put up or shut up, and we go to race. We manage to pull out just in time to be in front of most traffic, and get a red light. He revs it up, and I'm just laughing at the weight that his body kit, huge wing, and how bad hes gonna loose. Well light goes green, and we're off.

I'm not even using the slap shift, and Im pulling hard. Theres no use trying to explain teh race because by 80mph, I'm up by 8 lengths at least, and not even trying hard. I hit the emergency lights, and pull off, and head back to the parking lot we hang out in.

Next race is against a lightly modded 3rd Gen Eclipse. CAI, Exahust, and thats about it. He tells me I had a nice run, and asks if I wanna try against a non rice boy. I nod, and we pull out. No traffic, so we stop at the yellow light. He revs a few times, I rev back, and pop it into the slap shift mode.

THis race was the second best of the night. Light goes green, and we're off. I shift into 2nd at redline in first, and start pulling hard. I keep pulling hard through third, when Im at 80, and by now hes starting to pull. I jump into fourth and pull a little more up to 95. I'm four lengths ahead, and he flashes his high beams, and I pull off. We head back, and start talking about the race. He was a gracioius looser, and offered to pay a tank of gas. I turned it down, and we decided to meet later, and he took off.

Next race was rice boy number 2. Lancer (ES), fart pipe (no exahust, just muffler), Altezzas, wing right off a EVO VIII, and he had appearntly cut the bottom half of his airbox off so he could not pay for an Intake, but get the performance gains. He actually wants to put down cash, so I have to accept. I also have to win, becuase he puts down 100 bucks, and I only got 80 on me.

So we line up, again no traffic, this time no revs. I pop into slap shift. Light goes green, and I punch it. Perfect shift into second, right into the sweet spot, and I start pulling hard, and I mean HARD. And I go all out. I pull up to 130, and Im at least 15 lengths on him. I pull back into the parking lot, and the guy is fuming mad, saying I cheated and that I sprayed and he aint gonna pay. Well, first I explain that spray isn't cheating, and even then, I let him look under the hood. He freaked when he saw it was all but bone stock. And he forked over the cash.

Last race was the best. Mercedes C230 with an exhaust and intake. He pulled in towards the end of the night, as he had seen the 320 racing. He wanted to see how he'd do against me, and offered to put up cash. Me, feeling lucky and cocky, accepted, and said that the bet would be 180. He accepts, and we pull out. It takes a while for us to get a clear light, and when we do, were set.

I pop it over to slap shift, and settle into my seat a little. Im scared as hell, and know I need to win. Light goes green, and the last, and best, race of the night is on. Through second, were even, then I start to pull in third. Through third I pulled hard, and in fourth I was in a good lead. Kept at about three lengths, and he started to pull when I jumped into drive (MB Slap shift goes 1-4 then D). Now he was on my bumper, and I kept pulling. I was doing 140 when he flashed his high beams, and we pulled off. We had gone over 3 miles by then, and decided to go back. We pulled into the parking lot at the same time, and told the story to everyone there. Great race. Best of the night, and I got some good money outa it. Well, thats all I got, peace out.

sweet man! i might have been able to get some money that night that i raced but no one likes to race for cash so...anyway its still fun! nice story

CAI adds 50HP, type R sticker adds 20HP, G-Reddy Sticker adds 15Hp, Bodykits adds 25Hp, cherry bomb on stock exaust adds 32-1/3 HP, and the walmart spoiler allows my car to stay on the road at that high speed of 95mph i just hit the other night racing a moped...LMAO...nice kill on the riceboys...and your car wasnt even a sleeper... :eek7: :smokin: if only more people who owned imports would actually tune them...

I don't think I've ever had a good night. Then again, I don't race very often, nor win. I have alot of things holding me back.

If I race more than once, I always lose.

Wow, sounds like you guys had some fun those nights. I haven't had a totally victorious night yet, but eventually I will. Nice job fellas.

To tell you the truth, I can't remeber the last time I had a race. I guess nobody around north florida races. Nothing but fart can civics buzzing around here and none of them race.

Nissanfanatic, drive south a bit to Miami. I think thats where they film the Turbo Dreams videos...nice cars...

fun way to mess with drunks...if you suspect someone is driving drunk...pull up next to them at a stop light and put your car in Reverse and honk your horn once and slowly back up...as the look at you they will think they are rolling forward and will be slamming on the brakes....LMAO...fun stuff one saturday nights after everyone has gotten wasted...
