oil fuel pump switch

ok,,,,i have power to the fuel pump relay ,,,it kicks in and still no power to the fuel pump,,,going to change the oil fuel pump switch as a lat resort,,,has anyone in here had the problem with this switch and how exactly does it work?can it be bypassed? thanks for any help you guys can give,,,,,,
