Paint for wheels?

I never painted wheels for models (excluding Porsche 959 becouse they are white!)
but I think most "stock" wheels looks too shiny, not like wheels in real car
What paint should be used to get "aluminium","silver" or "machined" wheel appearance? I heard about Alclad stuff but have no experience with it

Testor's Metalizer line of lacquers are good for replicating magnesium or aluminum.
I have some of the ALCLAD and soon as I get to use it I'll let you know
how it works .
