valves are the part of a motor that allows fresh air and fuel into the combustion chamber of an engine, and then opens a second set of valves to realese the gasses through your exhuast. The valves are controlled by the posistion of your camshaft and are timed in respect to the firing of your spark plugs to maintain optimal performance.
