Hey Just curious what everyone thinks about a K&N Drop in??

There nice, had one in my Dakota...decent/reusable/a bit more improvement in airflow....what is the cost now a-days...$30-$50???? For $120 get yourself a JWT POP...just my two cents...

But how does that work with the 2 plugs into the intake???

Wha?!? Youre talking about the replacement filter for the stock one made by K&N right? Thats just a simple replacement...
If your talking about the air temp sensors and MAF those are different entirely.
Maybe Im way off base here....

I know what your talking about but what happens when you get the other intake the one that replaces it all...?

People are talking aobut two different things and are getting them confused.
One is the K&N Filter that simply replaces the stock filter and goes in the stock housing. That is what G20 SpoRt 2002 is asking if anyone has tried.
The other is the POP charger made by $tillen or JWT. It replaces the stock air box and uses a K&N Cone Filter. Yahnozha suggested getting this over the other one.
But how does that work with the 2 plugs into the intake???

I have a K&N drop-in and it is pretty good, easy installation, just drop right in, should improve airflow a little bit therefore a little performance as well...but the stock intake box is very restrictive, my 2000 G only has a very small pipe(less than 2 inch in diameter) leading air from the driver's side behind the headlight to the box

If your talking about the Stillen POP Charger, replaces the stock filter box. And it goes on your MAF. So don't need to worry about the plugs. Just make sure they don't give you one for a 99 P11. That's what happened to me and I had to wait another week to get the right POP Charger.
