Cruise control

I can't always get the cruise control to start. It works perfectly, when I can get it to work. What happens is that I can't always get the dashboard "Cruise" light to come. Sometimes, it will work as per factory, all day long. Sometimes, I have to please the on-off button on the sterring 10-50 times. I am thinking there is a relay somewhere that isn't energizing, I just don't know where to look.

If it is the sterring wheel contact, is it easy to replace?

sounds for sure it is the switch

If it were me, I would go down to my fav auto parts store
and ask if they got it and where it goes ...


if no luck go to your jeep dealer parts counter
and ask them where it goes.

then you can determine if is one you want to fix, and pay to fix
