2004 Evo vs. 2004 S2000

My mom is selling her Cadillac and I'm wanting a good fast car. Which is a better car to have a 2004 Evo vs. 2004 S2000. Which car is worth the money and performance?

Thats easy....The Evo hands down. The Evo is faster, in any race (drag, road...) a lot more room, a lot more power, and its great in snow/rain. I would go with the Evo.

:iagree: with EvoCrazy. The honda S2000, to me, is kind of more of a girl car. The Evo seems to be a little more "manly"....

i like s2000's just fine, but the evo seems to be the better car.

The S2000 is still a very beutiful and nice car, but if you want bang per buck, room, go with the Evo.

yeah, i'd agree that the honda is a nicer looking car, i can't believe that it has that small amount of torque, and it's only 500 lbs lighter than the evo.

s2000 is the fastest N/A car on the market, and lancers are turboed... go figure

of course the opinion is gonna be biased, go ask the S2000 comunity, they will defend thier car. but match em up on any course/road. the Evo is in a class above the S2000 stock-stock. remember when the Evo first came out last year? road and track, car and driver and sport-compact compared the Evo to the 350Z and the S2000. the Evo beat them all out (this was before the release of the STI, since then every single article has been Evo vs. STI!) in fact in the SportCompact mag the Evo was in 1st, then the 350Z and the S2000 placed last. now you choose.

I LOVE Evos. Been a fan since first seeing s Evo 6 in Grand Torismo 3, then asking my self "whats that?" Since then I have been a huge fan, and I'm glad they are out hear finaly, after 12 years.

S2000 is very impratical, EVO can make a great daily all weather driver.

Yea, there are hundreds of faster N/A cars than the S2K. Ferraris.......Lamborginis.....Porsche GT3s, and Boxers......and I can go on FOREVER!

Oh, and as for the Evo VIII being an ugly girl...Who cares, we know it would be kick ass in bed.

the evo would win hands down...any race...drag race road race etc. now i love the s2000 for its high revs but if i had to pick between the two by bang for buck it would easily be the evo...more power TONS more torque and AWD...great combination..and the evo runs low-mid 13s stock...now thats something to take note of..

Anyway no one said that you had to have the lights on. Evos are sexy just have to ask the right person. Go for the evo its much cheaper to tune

im hoping you mean power/liter otherwise you're just all sorts of wrong. anyway, the evo is waay more practical but not everyone (most gearheads) wants a practical car. it has more room but who buys a sports car for room? even before i had my 2 seater, i had an IS and still never used the back. the only thing the f22 has going for it over the evo is that its only 30hp away (but way more in torque) and its all motor. which would mean that it has more potential than the evo via FI but they respond horribly to mods. still though if you're good enough, a s2000 will can match evo in power with little work, this i personally know for certain. but id go evo.
