may need New Alternator...

I might have to replace my alternator.. I'll find out in a couple of hours... The guy at autozone told me that installing it myself would save me alot money...(no shit) but its time consuming.. which i'm all for.. now is Installing an alternator that hard?? I know its a lil tough to get too.. i don't wanna fuck up my engine

i think u have to remove the power steering pump on a 92 but im not sure i know on my 91 tsi i have to remove mine to get to the alternetor.
