I was wondering can I buy a used ecm, like off ebay, and interchange with my supposed faulty one? Also, could a bad ecm be causing a coil or something realted to go bad??

as long as the ecm comes from a car with the same engine and same options, it should work fine..
You might find one on e-bay.. or an auto wrecker..
But, more importantly, what leads you to believe this is your problem? did you run your codes to see what comes up? what is the problem with the car? whats it doing? I cant see a faulty ECM wrecking a coil.. but you never know with electronics

no error codes come up. I took it to a mechanic, and what came up was low voltage. He did it right in my face so I am sure about that. So we concluded it was the coil or the ecm. But I recently replaced coil.
What the car does it jerks at stops and often just dies. Also, is a hypertech chip considered a replacement for an ecm, but with more performance I guess? I am close to purchasing one... Any help??

if its a bad ecm should it come up in error codes? but doesn't ecm control error codes, so if ecm is bad, maybe its not controlling the codes like it should...

When a ECM is on its last leg it tends to throw codes that make no sense, I would check ignition Control module before you change the computer and the Hypertech chip changes stored info like Air/fuel ratio- Fuel map . Ignition timing and would not fix your problem
