my friend has a B16a1 swapped into his integra and he just ran a wire from his vtec solenoid to a toggle switch, a wire from the battery to the toggle, and then a ground wire to the toggle. Now he has toggle switch activated vtec! Its awesome bc he now has complete control over it. He can kick it on at Idle too. So now he kicks in VTEC at 5500 instead of stock (I think 4500) and it pulls harder (it was a lil boggy at the stock kick-in point). Very cool and now he can save a lil gas bc hes not gonna use VTEC when hes daily driving (he takes the highway to work everyday and he said its always in VTEC bc of the constant high RPM.

if you dont kick it in at the right point the motor can starve for oil and burn shit up.

he just did it for a sec to see if it would work, and it works whenever he wants. He doesnt use it at idle, it was just a test.
