used 86 crx si headers

any one have a set of used headers for my si. and a set of fenders.
I just bought 86 crx si all original with 130 thou. org. miles in great shape
but the finders are plastic and cracked. Did this car come with plastic finders or did some one put them on it. Thanks Ronnie

Well, the fenders were originally fiberglass, and yes, they came that way. It was an idea Honda had about reducing the weight of the vehicles, and I believe they did an excellent job. The only way you'll be able to get a set of fenders is to happen upon some at the junk yard, but they will probably be pretty weak and brittle. Your best bet is either e-bay, or searching for a site that distributes them. Here (http://www.carpartswholesale.com/cpw/index.html?cat=22&year=1987&make=HONDA&model=CRX) is a site where you can order them new. That would probably be your best bet. They also have the front "header" piece that is between the hood and the bumper/lights. Hope this helps, and welcome to the Forum!
