Raising suspension on 2001 Accord

Can anyone recommend suspension mods to raise my 2001 Accord V6 sedan an inch and a half or so? I live in the south of Mexico where the dreaded topes (speed bumps) are everywhere, usually unmarked, and the potholes can swallow pickup trucks. Are there rally suspension kits that jack the car up without weaseling the handling and ride too much?
I´ve already gone through three exhaust systems and two sets of motor mounts, and the bottom of the car looks like something from a war zone.

i would make some spring rubbers to block off the bottom few coils so that the springs don't compress as much. Also you could try to fit taller tires onto the rims.
