Wont start after changing head 4.7

2000 GC 4.7 I removed the left head to repair a warped valve caused by a leaking radiator. Everything went back together ok.

It started right up but only ran for about 2 min, then it died. ( It did have a rough idle but ran good at 2000)

It now has no spark.

Tried following:
Verified TDC manually with cam v/8 making at 12:00 (seemed to crank harder after this, it seemed to be 2 teeth off from my pre tear down marking)
Checked all connections
Fuses

THinking of trying:
New cam sensor
Then new crank sensor

My question, Is there anything else to try and what can just swaping the head do to cause this.

Tried cam sensor today, no go.

I will try crank sensor next,

also I am going to set the cam gear back where I had it. It seems to labor cranking now, more than before.

seems if the valve warped due to leaking radiator,
things must have gotten very hot.

Heat kills electrical componets, makes wires hard,
vacuum lines hard etc.

A motor that's hot enuff to warp a valve due to no water could
fry most anything under the hood.

Try chasing the spark/testing with a good manuel and multimeter.

A good manuel will have tests for most electrical parts.

And, sometimes when we make a motor have great compression
by rebuilding, then other problems pop up do to the added
power, for example, coils and sensors breaking down, old air leaks
now become huge air leaks, etc.

Tried crank sensor today, no better. Still no spark.

Is there anything else that can cause a no spark besides cam and crank sensor??????????

THe no spack turned out to be the auto shut down relay fuse. (I thought I had checked all) The dig comp indicated the auto shut down.

I think the fuse was blown by a over charged bat.

Installed new bat and fuse

Now it appears I have a new problem

The eng used to run 40 lbs oil press now it runs 5 lbs higher and tapps at startup and continues to tap until the oil gets warm.

There must be a problem with the oil galley through the head gasket.
I know it was the right gasket (I compared it to the old before installing)

Any ideas (other than pulling the head again) :(

5 lbs higher is no problem is actually better. Pull the valve cover off and see if all the push rods are getting oil if not you will have to clean the oil passages.
