I don't care for heated seats, a cushy ride, self leveling shocks, lumbar support, trnsignals in the rearview, or multi passengerseating. I love my car because it does exactly what I want it to do...when I hit the gas, my head goes into the seat, when I hit the brakes, my head hits the steering wheel. It's fast, loud, and SEXY!! I've just always loved f-bodys and will probably always own one.

Ever since I was three I've had two goals in life. I distinctively remember it, even the clothes I was wearing to the origional Mario Bro's game for NES that I was playing when I told my parents them. "I want to own THIS car, and I want to be MegaMan!" The MegaMan job didn't fall through too well, but ever since I was three I have wanted one. I remember because I was really short and a fatass of a kid, and I was waiting for my mom to pay for gas, so im just standing there looking at the newspaper rack that was at my hight. I don't remember what magazine it was, but right on the front cover there was a beautiful 69 Camaro with big slicks on it and the big supercharger scoop sticking out of the hood and everything, well I made my mom buy the magazine for me haha. When I got home I circled the cars I liked with crayons or something, and go figure they were all Camaro's. I dunno, kinda stupid but I think it's intriguing how even at three I had a sense of style :lol2: haha.

The style of the camaros is just kick.... They will always be remembered for the speed they offered for the price, and the fun and good times that they are. For me i thought they were hot cars and really contrable, But then again, i like two door cars and i dont know why...But i thought the camaro was the best two door in a good price range..

i saw my car for the first time when i was about six. came home from school and it was sitting in my driveway. a friend of my mom had just bought it and i thought it was the coolest car ever. everytime that woman came over i would just sit there and stare at the car, thinking of how awsome the car looked. i would even yell at the woman when i noticed a new dent in the hood. to make a long story longer, i got that very car for graduation (the woman worked out a deal with me so i got the car real cheap). loved her ever since and i drive her like its nobody's business...

Ever since I could remember cars, I always liked the Camaro. It just always eeemed to be the symbol of American muscle. The Camaro has always been a part of my family's set of cars. Two of my uncles had one, both of them second generation Camaros. My cousin bought an 86 IROC Camaro when it first came out, and still has it in his garage, and my grandmother bought a 94 when my grandfather died, just because he wouldn't let her drive when he was alive, so she was going to show him and all of my uncles and aunts that she could drive a sports car.
Then when I started getting into cars again because I was of driving age, everyone else was being stupid and talking about how their civic, cavalier,s10 or ranger was so great, and it really pissed me off that they were buying cheap domestic crap or foriegn crap. So then I had to buy a Camaro just to spite all of them.
*Side note: One of the saddest days of my childhood she traded in her black 94 for a Ford Taurus, instead of saving it and handing it down to me.
At the end of July I bought my 94. (not because anyone in my family had one, it was a great deal to get it for how much I paid).

speed, aggressive looks, power that roars so loud, headturning appeal, pure sex, stable handling, adrenilan everytime you punch that accelerator, tough body that will protect you in an accident and a reputation that gives it a class of its own. those are the reasons why i love the camaro and would have it over almost any other car.
lol, i almost sound like a car commercial

well, to be honest, i was shopping for a 1970 Chevelle SS clone when i found the RS. and as we drove by i just couldnt stop looking at her, we went back, i looked her over, ran my hand down the hood and over the roofline. I just fell in love with her. we went and got the owner and she came out and showed me the car, Black with a red interior, i had never seen that before, and it was increadable. she gave me the keys and i fired it up, of course she sounded awesome because there was a hole in the muffler the size of my head, i took the T-tops off, pulled out onto the road, back tires spinning, rear end drifting sideways, and took off down the road, pulling up to 100mph. she handled so well i was still driving one handed as i entered the tripple digits. i love how i feel everything, how connected i am to the car, how she responds like were linked. i like being low and going fast. and like someone said, i dont care much for modern flash and flare. keep all your electronic gizmoes and gadgets, my car is what she is, and i love her for it. i turned her around, went back and paid for her on the spot. and drove her home. When she got totalled the first time, and i thought i was going to loose her, i had no doubts in my mind that i was going to take the insurance money and go buy another third gen, my parents were pushing a civic or cavalier, something responceable, but after driving that camaro, there was no arguing with me. I bought the IROC, and drove her home from arkansas. and never looked back. In my experience, there is no other car that will ever match what that car does for me. how they feel, how they drive, and what they are. Ill always have one. and thats a certainty.

The Camaro gives a lot more bang for the driver too compared to other American sports cars *cough* Mustang *cough*. If I hit the gas in my car it puts my body deep into the seat, but if I push it to the floor in my mom's Mustang, you wouldn't know that it's running as hard becuase it doesn't plant you in the seat like my Camaro

My reason is pretty much the same as everyone elses, except I also like a cushy ride with all the gizmos, and that's why I got the rora. It's like having the best of both worlds.

I combined both of thoes into one car. Also I could not find a car that delivered HP per dollar like the GN does.

when i was 5 (way back in 1990), my grandpa bought an 86 IROC, i thought it was the sweetest car on the planet.. my other grandpa owned a 68 Camaro, and my mom had a 76 Camaro.. so it kindof ran in the family.. and i was more than happy to keep the tradition alive

yeah ....when i first heard it at work that it wasnt his kid....he told me and i was like...damn that sucks dude....and i immediately turned around and walked as fast as i could to the other end of the shop where my manager was. we both had a good laugh. i dont feel bad for him at all tho cause hes a little dweeb that thinks he is the best at everything in the shop.

When I was born my dad bought a 77 Z28 and the only way they could get me to go to sleep was by firing that thing up and driving around... They said most of the time when they got back home and killed the engine I would wake back up and start crying so they would do it all over again... Then when I was 7-9 my neighbor was given a Red Iroc Z for HS graduation and I remember loving that car... My dad had always told me that when I was in HS if I pulled off all A's and B's before I turned 16 he would get me a car within reason except a Mustang because they were the bottom of the line when they came out and that they were not a real sports car, LOL... He said that GTO's and so on were the real thing... Anyway I worked real hard in school and got my first White, T-top, fully loaded, T56, Z28 when I turned 16... I fell in love with that car until she died in a horrible accident... Then I bought another 95 Z28 Conv as you see in the sig and still have it as well as a 00 Z28, fully loaded, T-top, w/ auto... I will be awaiting the return of the Camaro and if she doesn't oh well guess its time for a Vette...

My dad has had a 78 Rally Sport :ylsuper: (that actually meant something back then, not base model), and it is still beautiful to this day. I have always loved his car, and since we had some american muscle in the household, I have loved all muscle cars since. Then, growing up in the 80's, I learned to love those cars. Being a chevy famliy, I loved the camaro's and monte carlo SS's. My camaro was my first car actually cuz everyone is supposed to get in an accident in their first year of driving, so I didn't wanna total a monte. Well, here it is, almost 3 yrs later, still drivin the Z, and loving it more than ever. A monte can't even compare to the cornering and speed of a Z. I will one day own a SS, maybe when I calm down a little, but till then, I will drive an F body as long as my income can support the gas tank.
I am a true believer in that your car reflects yourself. That is how people say cars have personalities, and those personalities are the same as the person driving it. Not always, but that is usualy true.
