My first race!

well its not really my first race.. but it is since i fixed my car :icon16: yes i know im not wasting any time.. i was comming home from work 1230 ish.. and driving in the same place i drove the maxima and raced the bmw.. i see this bike comming up fast in my rear view so im like F* it so i gear down into 2nd.. when he gets to my bumper i hit the gass the turbo spools instantly and i take off.. he gets the point and starts to pull as well.. of course he reaches me and passes me but not my much maybe a car.. i was keeping up with him from the roll..

no were at the light, he compliments me on my bov, i tell him i like the bike its some crb 900cc thingy.. im not big on bikes all i know is 900cc is a big bike.. so he revs and so do i. i launch the car at 5psi b/c i hit fuel cut off now with anything higher.. he jumps for the line but not by much maybe a car.. and he maintains it to 80 and pulls another car 2 in total.. i kept up with a bike.. yay! go me

Very nice, kepping up with a street bike is one hell of a hard thing to do. After all there power to weight ratio is killer, hell they are sitting on a motor with wheels. Once again very nice.

Sounds like a cool race, however I doubt the bike was racing seriously since a 900cc bike should be very fast.

edit.. 650cc i got the numbers confused i looked it up on line.. they was no way i was keeping up with a 900cc bike...

I just had my first race as well but mines was against a pick up. The thread is called the same as yours. How many times have you raced before you fixed your car.

haha countless times.. i lost track basically twice a week.. who knows...

Thats what everyone has been telling me at my thread.

because it's true.... don't take it lightly either... it's a crazy world out there and we just want all the new people know that what they do while racing not only affects you and our opponent... it also affects everyone around you. Just keep it safe and the fun will happen also.

Haha...A friend of mine was telling me awhile ago that you can stick the world 'anal' in front of any Ford car's name and it makes sense. It's kinda funny.

haha yea tat calls my car the anal probe lolz its funnie ish.. usually i just drive off with the nicest grin on my face my best feeling was when i killed the bmw 330ci with the probe.. its nice to beat the "ultimate driving machine" lolz

Keeping up with a bike. Major props to u man.

Even if it was only a 650cc, thats a job and a half to keep up with. Good race, even if you didnt win. I was about to say most 900cc bikes are in the litter class, and those things haul balls.

i dont know.. i dont mind running again.. its getting colder.. so thats a good thing.. ill diffenetly fun tat again when i get my chip and fuel pump and im boostin 15psi.. and i wont have to hit that damm fuel cut off...

Didn't you say that you were going to lower the boost to an even 12 or 11 to stop the fuel cut? If you ever come to Florida, stop in Gainsville and let me know.lol NO races at all around here. Everyone just buys wings, rims, CF shit and body kits. Sorry for the rant. Good luck.

i was gona lower the boost but i decided why lower it when i can up it some more by getting a chip and ill be safer.. more fuel more spark= more fun..
