2nd gen project car, worth fixing ?

hey guys and gals i found a 2nd gen with a full cage, sitting in a field, my dad knows the owner. i can probably pick it up cheap but i want to know if its worth bringing this diamond back from the rough. it has no wheels im not sure if it has a drivetrain and theres no windows so its a lil rusty on the inside, but he will give me a shit load of parts for it, ohh yeah the bodys good. any feedback wood be appreciated. and would it be a betteridea to part it out or finish it ?

as long as that rust isn't all the way thru it should be worth the effort, price depending of course

If its been sitting in a field for a while make sure you check the bottom out because the moisture on grass rotts the hell out of them.

when my dad bought his 58 chevy the mice didnt come out till we got it in our garage, not fun

if its a bit rough, your going to spend around 5,000-10,000 dollars to get it back to nice quality. my 74 i got was (still is) pretty bad. it has came a long way. i already have around 6000 in it already and the motor is not in the car yet. no paint yet. have the parts, just need some more cash to get everything done. its cost money. if i knew it was going to cost this much, i would have bought one already done. i guess doing it this way, you can say "I DID THAT". good luck with everything

well it hasnt been in the field for too long because the guy who owns it has only had that property for a couple years, so he must have gotten it during that period. even if it doesnt haev a motor i think finding a good small block chevy cant be hard, i think im going to make it a amature stock car, or whatever its called.
