Help with power steering fluid

I have "inherited" a 1995 Ford Escort from my daughter. It is giving me the familiar "whine" that indicates the power steering fluid needs to be filled. However, I CANNOT FIND THE RESERVOIR! I'm not an idiot about identifying engine parts and there is a white plastic reservoir in the front left corner of the engine compartment, but there is no writing on the lid to indicate what fluid goes in there. Plus, it looks full. I have found the windshield washer fluid, brake fluid, and everything else, but I cannot positively identify the mysterious unlabeled reservoir as being for the power steering fluid. Can I get a little help on something that should be so simple?

if your looking at your car from the front, facing the back, the radiator is towards you. upper left corner is the windshield washer, upper middle/right, is brake fluid, lower right, is collant, and lower left is powersteering. that should have a hose that runs a foot or two into a pulley right there on the engine, thats your powersteering pulley and so thats your power steering fluid, if its full, its full, maybe its another problem like the pulley itself.
