Key fob problem

Hi, Can anybody help please. I have a rover 623 and need to re-programme the remote control key fob. The car is 1996 so would appreciate any help in solving this little problem. Thanks

Reprogram? what you done to it?

If it's you had the battery off the car or replaced the battery in the key fob, then you need to resynchronize it. Click the lock button 4 times in quick succession while standing next to the driver door.
