Power windows working half the time

When I first start my car, the power windows work fine. But after driving for about 10 minutes they stop working, and won't go up or down anymore. I have to turn the car off, then wait a while, then when I turn it back on, they work again. There appears to be no possible shorts or blown fuses. Any ideas?
