Just got back from this years VMM, it's always a great show. But there are fewer models every year. Both my '67 Mustang and my '69 Camaro got a lot of nice coments, but no awards.

Maybe next year!? It's a falling tendence in model cars according to Kjell at Hobbybiten, there is not as many as it used to be that build cars. Seems that the A/C- and Panzer-heads is still going strong though. So, We will have to carry on and try to lure more people in to this here in Sweden. Nice subjects, I saw the Willy's at this years IPMS-Open in Stockholm, very nice. That builder also had some other really great cars at that occasion. I was in Barkarby and took some pics of the Ninja Turtle monster truck, Grave digger was supposed to be there but it was in Belgium with a busted engine.

proosen: I think Plastick Whackin' at Wheels Nat's is getting bigger every year. And the car class at IPMS is groving so I think the problem is getting the people to the shows. Anyway next year they will have some millitary classes at Västerås in the hope that more will come.

Kjell said that it's not the same as a few years ago. Not as many costumers in his store nowadays as before. As regarding the IPMS-Open it differs from year to year, not that I'm an expert as I only participated the last six years. It has been everything from one to two tables on 'open. CCM-Open at Persåkers speedshop is often very nice with a lot of cars, trucks and bikes. Let's hope I'm wrong and we can see a whole bunch of civilian vehicles in the future shows.
Cheers!
