Silver Vision Bulbs

I just ordered the silver vision bulbs so I can clear my front corners. These bulbs don't fit for the rear turn signals right? If not, are there bulbs like these that don't look yellow, but will flash yellow? I'm interested in clearing it, but don't want it flashing white.

Do you have a direct link? I bought some APC LED Amber bulbs for the back, they have yet to arrive - but when they do I'll share my thoughts on them. Supposedly they don't last very long.

I read somewhere that if you put LED's in your turn signals, your blinkers will blink faster because the LED's draw less current than regular bulbs, so it "thinks" the bulb is blown, so it blinks fast like you have a turn signal bulb out. But I dunno.

Buy a set of "normal" amber bulbs and spray a *light* coat of silver paint on them. The silver paint will reflect the light coming from the outside of the bulb, so they don't look yellow when they aren't flashing. But it will let the light through when the bulb flashes, and it will show up amber like it should. Some of the guys on one of the BMW forums have done this with good results. I think Testors might even make a transparent silver paint for scale models.

it does blink faster, also you gotta reverse the polarity for some LED's, not worth it I think, easier to get some amber bulbs and paint them with some of that tint paint you can get at a hobby shop or some silver paint like Swonder67 suggested, only like 5 bucks or so.

Yea, those are the ones I ordered, but #7443's for the rear. Again I'll test to see how they work - if they suck bum, then I'll do what Swonder and Nismo suggested.

The APC Amber LEDS arrived today and I installed them. They make all the lights flash like a mutha - seems I'm going to have to get some normal Polarg bulbs and just try the BMW spray technique on them.

Not for nothin' . . .

But, I think PIAA recently made a bulb that looks blue from outside (when off), but flashes amber.

I'll get some info if I can find it.
