Here are some pictures of the new kit of Rally Classics. The estimated date of release is november.
The kit will include decals for 2004 Mont Carlo Rally, Tamiya tyres and clear part, and p/e parts.

Thanks for the pics geronimo, wasn't aware this was in the pipeline. They look like masters based on the Tamiya Shell so it must be 1/24th scale. And the rear wing looks like it is based on a 206's (just like the real Focus some might say!).

A real shame for Rally Classics that Hasegawa are dong an injection molded version, will greatly reduce their possible sales. They should’ve done a 307 :)

Yes, you are right. They are late. But I know the guys at RC and also know the quality of Hasegawa, and I must say the RC will be much better (also more expensive).
The old Has. Focus were out of scale, and you had to buy Tamiya wheels for better appearance.

Possibly Hasegawa will redeem themselves for their crimes in the past (particularly Lancers). Fingers crossed for a completely new tooling rather than a hatchet job on their old Focus. I guess if Hasegawa do a bad job RC will be the one to get. Have they completely redone the interior too?

Yes, they will. I saw alreasy the p/e parts and they are very good. Also saw the decal print. It will be produced somewhere in Germany.
They have also modified the Tamiya wheels for the '04 style.

Cool - will that be 15 spoke, 4 stud, 18" Oz wheels? I also wonder if either company will be able to reproduce the luminescent colours of the livery?

P.S. Love the Repsol Porsche in your sig!

Yes the rims will be absolutely realistic. I do not have idee about the decal, maybe it will not be luminescent.

You can see more pics in my site from the Repsol Porsche. It is one of my favorite model :)
