update, the motors out and were stripping it down for parts to swap over, so far my moron brother broke my harmonic balancer pulley that i need :banghead: ugh, so frustrated, and on top of that i'm outta cash and i need oil, and coolant for the motor and a dizzy and now a harmonic balancer! :banghead: :banghead: AND i still hafta get all the wiring switched which is gonna be hell, if someone wants to help me either by shooting me a link or by telling me step by step what to do i will love you!! and send me a million dollars too :D hehe :evillol:

For wiring... I'd got to top-speed.com and e-mail Scott and get him to do it for me.

update, its in, but not wired up all the way. also i was looking and it seems i can get away with using a stock lower rad hose as an upper hose! :D but yea, need to upload my pics

My advice on the wiring, print whatever Ami sent you or write it down, go out to the car and take it step by step. First just figure out what everything is, then figure out what you have to add and move around. I took my wire harness out of my civic to wire it up for MPFI, made it a lot easier for me to figure out what was going on. Just make sure you wrap all the wires back up with GOOD electrical tape. Mine came out looking better than stock, just too bad there isn't a head sitting on it.

yea i think i'm gonna do that, dunno if i should start inside the car at the ECU or start with the injectors, also, why should you reverse the wires for the TPS?? it says to do that :eek7: but i'm using the TPS from my old D15B2

Well if your going to pull the wire harness out, just pull the engine bay part, no need to pull anymore of it out. Once you get the engine harness done, all you have to run is 4 wires through the firewall into the computer. Make sure you had a connector inside the engine bay for those extra wires, you can grab one off your old dizzy, that way if you need to do some work later you don't have to go all the way to the ECU.

How are you going to use the D15 tps? they are in different locations. If it works you won't have to reverse the wires. But if you would use the new one and didn't reverse the wires, at idle you will be running at WOT and vica versa.

Just remember to take your time, you get in a hurry and you will bypass something. Didn't take me that long to do the wiring once i figured out what was going on, but if you remember me, i love wiring.

yea wiring sucks, been doing it for about 4 hours now today, really sucks, i switched the wires in the TPS plug today as well and see what happens, the reason i'm using my D15 one is cuz the one i got with the TB was busted :( :banghead: and i havent gotten a new one yet. but i gotta go back out and play with more wires.... :(

If you are using using the D15 TPS, leave the wires the way they were. The reason you swap the wires is the way the TPS is, so if you keep that one they should stay the way they were.

fired up on 3 cylinders tonight, getting a code 4 and 10

code 10 gone, picked up a code 3,5 and 14 now, and still have 4

3 - manifold absolute pressure

4 - Crank angle sensor

5 - map sensor again?

14 - Electronic Air Control Valve

sounds like its hitting the limiter at 3500 now and just bounces, have a code 4 and 14 still, how the fuck do i fix it? anything i can use from my d15b2?? also it takes a second or 2 to catch and rev up.

running on all cylinders now too

which distributor are you using? if you dont have the multipoint dizzy, or you didnt wire everything up properly on the correct dizzy, you will get that code.

also, the EACV is the cylinder looking thing on the backside of your intake manifold. another thing to look closely at, the MAP sensor and TPS sensor have the same type of plug. dont get them mixed up.

the crank angle sensor could be cause by having it 180deg off (the thing beside the distributor on the exaust cam)

I have seen alot of ZC have this error, the car still runs no prob with it.

thats true, i completely forgot that the ZC has the crank angle sensor outside of the dizzy. silly me and my b16.

that picture where you show the injector plugs the TPS sensor plug, and the "unknown" plug, that unknown one is for the EACV

ive sent off the cheque for the TPS sensor about 4 weeks ago now but the wanker never sent anythign , i have tried chasing him but nothing :( sorry mate

and so ur saying that maybe the crank sensor code is because the thing is 180 out? so if i pull it off and switch it around it should be fine??

well.. its running better now, revs past 6500 lol, it was the TPS and the wiring to B10 and B12 to the ECU but thats all fixed now, the TPS that came with the TB i got was busted, luckily i found the pieces lastnight and soldered it back together and it works like new now :D but now i have a couple more problems, it cuts out quickly when u hit the gas, and the zc tranny somehow decided to explode inside on me again, this is tranny number 2 that i've killed, but yea, the DX one is going back in sometime today hopefully, but i was driving up the street and all i heard was *click click click click click* gettin a bit faster, then i turned the corner to take it around the block and it slowly started going away, turned again and it just reved, nothing, just sat and reved and didnt do anything! :banghead: thank god i didnt take it any farther then i did

fuck! damned axel popped out, but to make matters worse, the inner cv joints click like a bitch, but i think its because we assembled them wrong in the first place because we put teg inner joints on dx axels.

WOO HOO!!!!!! i've put 20 kms on the motor now :D runs good except its running a little lean, and it stutters when u hit the gas a little quick, so i think it might just be a fuel problem that its not getting enough to the rail because i used the fuel fitting from the fuel filter and put that on so we can get it running and its worked just not gettin enough tho

and yes, i have a HUGE smile now, except that my oil light comes on once and awhile after driving for a long time, like it flickers on and off and doesnt stay on constantly, also my oil looked thicker towards the end of the dipstick and thinner up top but i do have enough oil in the engine so i dunno, should i have to do an oil change? or is the pick up glogged a bit?
