window crank

I have a 93 cavalier, and I need to get off the door panels, but i'm having a hard time figuring out how to get off the window crank, I was told 3 different was to get off, 1) a screw on the bottom of the crank (no screw located), 2) pry it off (wont budge) 3) a C-clip (dealer says no). Anyone who has taken one off your help will be greatly appreciated
