here's mine.
i want to paint the valve cover, intercooler pipes, intake and heat shield.
i can't decide between gunmetal and silver (metal flake)
the valve cover would be silver and the raised lettering would be red.
maybe.
can i get some suggestions???
word.

Hey kevin why you have the plugs over the valve cover????
I took the pic because once I pulled those plugs, I realized the motor was toast and I wouldnt be able to get another pic until next year :D The motor is currently in its various pieces all over the garage. The wires cover up the bling from the manifold, but thats alright.

I think anyplace you get it "online" is going to count as webmail. Trying to be like NABR again I guess. I must be grandfathered in, my account is still good with my yahoo adress. I had to use my work address for nabr, which blows. Good luck to you on that one...

No rest for the waery :D I had to open it up to see what went wrong, and what I need to look forward to buying. NOW I can rest until I feel like spending the cash. Well, I should still pull the motor soon so I can work on other little projects when I get bored.

That's what I thought I mean its just a pipe with a filter... the only thing that could cause a problem is the auto tranny getting in the way or something? I don't know for sure.
Oh and, RaginAsian, 95 GSXracer, clipsekid99 and oxygen800r: Nice engine bays very clean :D I don't know how all you other guys can resist having a dirty bay. haha.

I got this filter for about 40 bucks from summit. Its straight obviously, not conical, 7 inches around, 9 inches long. 4" inlet in my case for the dejon pipe. Summit has a little filter setup that lets you narrow it down one spec at a time. I Went for what I Thought was the biggest I could stuff in there, and I was pretty damn close. Barely fits.

That hurts my eyes!
My engine bay used to be ugly... People would see my car in the lanes, look under the hood, and pass on like it was a ford tempo. Then after it ran they all wanted a second look ;) But with the new shiny parts like the intake mani, and fuel rail, and the semi-polished valve cover I figured I might clean it up someday. Then the 3.5" UICP put me over the edge. I'm going to clean it up a lot more this winter.
