Valves

Ok...there is this guy at my school who always says if you have to free flowing of exaust that it will screw up your valves because it dosen't have enough back pressure...and that makes absolutly no since to me...am i correct?

He is probably thinking of open shorty headers. Yes you can burn valves with very little to no exhaust if cold air is sucked back up into your headers.
