Hi every one, Studio27 and Acustion already release their detail parts for the Porsche Carrera GT. Each detail part has it own features.
Studio27's set
http://www.hlj.com/images/s27/s27fp2480.jpg
It has the Porsche on the engine cover, more detail on the brake disc, and the mesh on the engine bay is included.
Acustion's set
http://www.hlj.com/images/acs/acs2456.jpg
It has more part than the Studio27's. BUT it does not have the details for the pedals.
May be we need to wait until SMS's kit.

hlj don't acept "hotlink" for picture
anyway, sad S27 didn't include some seatbelt.. beside that, for the price and mesh, it's the way to go

Yeah, but with the normal Acustion pricing policy you'd be able to get the S27 fret and a set of setbelt harware for much the same price! In my experience, recent S27 suff is way superior than Acustion as well.

Don't worry, they are doing fine  because the brand Acustion is suppose selling in Japan only. Basically most of the back stock that we used to see are all sold out. They are mostly likely to this company named 'Yorozuya' which do transkit and photo-etch parts too, but they don't sell outside Japan.
Acustion is also look like SMS, but what I know is import goods from other countries will be costly in Japan. So if someone in Japan manufacture could do the same like SMS, then they do not need to paid higher price what they need. And Acustion did it. :2cents:

Actually it cost the same for me to run photo etch as it does Studio 27, acustion and Scale Motorsports. At the least it is very close only changing by the specific materials used. The biggest cost is in the labor and art. Knowing what it costs to produce photo etch parts Studio 27 is a very good value, Scale Motorsport is a fair value and Acustion is waaaaay overpriced on a size basis. As for import costs it is not what you think. I can sell Studio 27 products from the USA for the same cost as anyone in Japan. This is not the case with plastic models because of the infrastructure that is in place but for aftermarket parts it is all the same. I am not saying they do not have nice products but they are more expensive than they should be.

scaleracecars...I think you get me wrong. I agree with you that ST27 can selling cheaper in most countries as they are big factory unlikly to Model factory Hiro, Acustion and Sakatsu. They are small workshop not factory base, and they print and cast their own parts, and mainly they basic marketing is in Japan not outside Japan. Japanese can affort of the products plainly is they had used to it but not us outside Japan. As for ST27, they do both market "in and out" because they got manpower and got people who speak English. The rest, they can't. They have to look for translator for help. For example, write a email in English and send to Renassiance.
Do you Acustion wholesale price is not way to compare with ST27? Simple it... Acustion and the rest of the small factory in Japan do not have this "stomach to contain that much of food" as ST27 can.
I'm not siding Acustion, it is really expensive and I do agree with you the rest. I like ST27 and I really think ST27 photo-etch part is good enough for most model I build and I don't think I'm that hardcore to buy those expensive photo-etch full detail set to do my model, I'm just not ready for those. It's really good to know your different view, and I do learn something. Maybe we just have the different point of view, that all and if I wrote too aggressive to your point, sorry. No heart feeling, ok.

No hard feeling here. All of the other companies send their photo etch out to a factory to be made. As such they all pay about the same for their products to be produced. I do as well so I know very well the cost of production and as a vendor who carries all of the manufacturers you mentioned I know what they are paying as well. Like I said there is nothing wrong with their parts except the price. Maybe one day they will begin making parts in a more productive fashion and can be competitive and offer an equal value. I do wish them all the best.

It seems to be working now. I have had a couple of emails over the weekend with the same problem. Could be server work or maybe it is the new Microsoft service pack 2. They just listed it as an automatic update and I had so many problems I had to remove it. A lot of changes were made to in it and many of them are internet explorer related and internet options regargless of the browser being used. I will be workig on these issues over the next couple of weeks once I get one of the computers to actually run it.
