the worst that happened to your keyboard

I don't have any pics, but, on my old keyboard, I spilled a large deli-size coffee with cream and sugar all over it once. I cleaned it out, and saved it in time but the S-key is a bit slow, hehe. I dropped a stapler on it causing part of it to crack, and then to top it off, i spilled a whole bottle of Poland Spring on it, which caused me to buy a new one for the family computer. Any of you have anything worse?

so... hmm... I got this old keyboard, parked my car on top of it, but now it looks like nothing happened to it :dunno: although when I shake it it does sound like an etch-a-sketch... I'll destroy it more later. For now I gotta make a random thread about clocks or something.

Nothing horrible has ever happened to any of my keyboards, but at school I used to strategically switch keys so that visual typers would get so messed up when they were typing. I would take great pleasure in switching the R and E keys and watching people try and figure out why they're sentance looked like; rvrey timr I typr it looks erally wired.

well I used to have an anger problem when it came to computers not doing what I wanted them to do... leys just say I used to go through a keyboard every month because I would pound on them (good thing wal-mart had those 9.99 keyboards). One time in college I pounded on one till the keys all fell out, and then set it down in the hallway of my dorm and ran then jumped on it and slid down the whole hallway on it. (was bored)



Anyway I don't have that problem anymore because I now realize that computers aren't supposed to do what you want... they do what they want and if you're lucky what they want to do may coincide with what you want it to do... so anyway I've had the same keyboard for years now and its as good/clean as the day I bought it.

I hit the spacebar too hard once on a cheap-o keyboard and it broke just snapped, so I had to get another one thats about the worst. Besides when I had too much fun with a can of compressed air and my keyboard.

Iv washed mine, then tried to dry it with a hair dryer.

Lets just say that most key bourds are made from very soft plastic, and most hair dryers get hot enough to melt very soft plastic.


Iv also run them over at work with the truck, 4tons of Mitsubishi doing a burn out on a keybourd really does destroy them.

I ran mine over last night, didn't do much at all. course I guess it would only be like 700 lbs to a tire...

spilled full glass of milk on it... had to take out all the keys and clean that bad boy out...

I did that last week. Let's just say there were plenty of stuff that was in the keyboard (hasn't been cleaned in over a year)...

I was pretty sick one weekend, so i spilled a glass of ginger ale all over my moms wireless keyboard, and didn't feel like taking all the keys out and cleaning it, so needless to say, all the keys still stick.

Has anyone seen the virus that makes everything you type turn into chinese? You thought your keybpard was fucked up before. Download that onto a school computer and watch the shit fly. Not that Ive ever done that or would know how to do it :rolleyes:

I tried all the methods at one time or another.

Yeah might have some damage after 7-10 quality hits... if u get a key board from 89 like what I had 1 time that shit was unbreakable I used to throw it out my second story window and only the D and W key came off. then it just became obsolete so I hurled it at my garage and backd over it with the car just cause I was a little pissd.
