(93-civic-hb-gsr swap) when i drive my car, it tends to boggle like it's choking and goin to die. Just today i drove it on a fairly warm day and my car would idle funny. the RPM goes high then low and to 0 at some point. i have to step on the acceleration pedal to keep my rpm high and avoid my car to shut down. anyhelp will be great!!

A bad IAVC and TPS are common problems with swaps. Actually, a bad IAVC is common with B series period. Do you have vacuum leaks. If no vacuum leaks, then check your IAVC if it is clogged. This should be your first step in diagnosing your problem.

A bad IAVC
I meant IACV (Idle Air Control Valve). It sits behind the throttle body. It has two hoses going in and out of it. What you need to do is, pull it out and check if the screen is clogged or torn. If it is, then replace it. $150 at autozone. maybe $20 on ebay used, but as long as the screen is not blocked or torn, it will be fine.
Your rpms jumping up and down followed by engine dying out sometimes is a common symptom of a bad IACV.............common among hondas. Usually followed by a code also, but, ive never experienced codes with a bad IACV.

I had the same problem and it was my IACV. Also maybe you need to adjust the TPS? Most likely its either of them 2. Go to the junkyard and ask them if they have the IACV. Or search on www.thepartstrader.com , www.hondaclassifieds.com

I'm not too sure about that. Like it bogs? Well fix those 2 things mentioned by superbluecivicsi and then if it does keep bogging...could be electrical problem. Its really hard to tell.
