Car got hit today

Today while I was inside Wal-Mart, some jackass did a little hit-and-run action with my Silver Bullet. When I came out, there was a note on the windshield by a witness who saw the car drive away. The witness was kind enough to write down the license plate number of the truck that hit my car. Now the entire driver's side of the rear bumber is crushed in and scratched to hell. I went to the police station to report it, and they were going to try and track the guy down tonight (fingers crossed). They said that if they find him he'll be slapped with a hit and run ticket and if he doesn't have insurance, they'll get him on that too. I hope he has insurance because if not, my deductable is gonna be $500, which I can't afford right now since I'm in school.

So for those of you out there keeping track, my baby's rear-end has been violated twice since I got her in November of 2003 :disappoin ...I haven't even had the damn thing a year!!

Thanks for the support. Actually, I'm an all-stock kind of guy (at least on the outside of my car) so no body kits here. I plan on taking it to the same place that did the repairs the last time it got hit - John Elway Autonation Collison Center in Denver. They're owned by the Autonation dealership guys. They did a great job last time and it was quick and painless too.

I lived in a suburb called Arvada, which is about 20 minutes north west of Denver. My mom still lives there, but I just moved to Fort Collins, CO to go to school at Colorado State University. Fort Collins is about an hour and a half straight north of Denver.

When I lived in the Denver-Metro area, I would see about 3 Aleros a day. Now up here in this college town, I see about 6 a day, only because they are cheap and every kid has one now days.

My mom's entire family is from Minnesota. My aunt and uncle are from Crystal; he's a Sergent on the bomb squad for St. Paul. The rest of my family lives near Minnetonka.

i found a website that offers OEM GM online catalogs 24-7. had the parts shipped to my home cheaper than buying from my local dealer. www.gm-car-parts.com

I know your pain Jeremy! The second summer I had mine i was hit twice! This was last summer. This summer I just got hit in the rear in a parking lot that smashed in my quarterpanel! 2 weeks later a chunk of cement comes of a truck and I hit it turning my wheel into a taco! This was 2 days ago and im so peaved I havent fixed it yet. I need its getting to cold out for the bike these days...

Ive had it 2 years now i think and I get hit no more or less then twice a summer! The car is cursed! :evillol:

I could care less if people keep rear-ending it as long as it only effects the bumper cover and doesn't damage my tailights, trunk, or rear quarter panels. Anything over like a $1000 repair, I would have to kill the other driver...

I remember reading somewhere that Red is involved in the most accidents. Morons don't notice Red cars and Red brake lights and stop... Go figure. However is is a pretty color car :)

Dude not again. You have got to stop getting that thing into accidents. I mean really. This like the 3 time something has happen to your car in like what 3 months. Geez you have to be the most unluckest person here. Again sorry to hear about that. Good luck on finding the person responsible.
