release clutch and dies

93 cav 2.2 liter........another problem im having when i do get it running lol i put it in first gear and release the clutch and car immediatly dies is this 140,000 mile car just wore out hum puzzled

check your fuel pressure. Your pump is putting out just enough to keep it running with no load, but not with a load. If the pressure is low. it's either a bad fuel pump or a bad regulator.
