After The Event

The idea of this thread is to post in it once you get back from some kind of live music event.


Just got back from yet another sleazy night clubbing at Sublime@Home (Sublime is the night, Home is the club), Sydney.

First up was Jumping Jack - who did very little to excite me, as per usual. Why they insist on having an uplifting trance DJ with a residency at a club where everyone goes for hard dance is beyond me.

Next up was Jay Walker, a rave DJ from the UK. Any other dance fans out there heard of him before, or know where I might have heard him before? The guy absolutely goes off, hard dance but in a very different style to the locals.

Nik Fish hit the decks for the third round, and as per usual his set absolutely rocked. If anyone else from this forum has a penchant for hard dance, I reckon he is always worth a spin.

Finally was Pee Wee Ferris, who has been around the Aussie Hard Dance scene for nearly 20 years and still goes absolutely mental.

Overall, the venue and music combined very well with the fact I took a former FHM model for a kick arse night out.

Just got home after a night out.

Started off to go see Misfits of Science, an NZ hip hop band. 25 at the door, saw a DJ and a local hip hop crew, then the misfits played a very short set. Met some random people, saw lots of hotties,and signed some random guy's overalls and had him sign my shirt.

Moss and I left after that, met up with my mate Chris at Coyote, and danced with random girls til 4am. Moss making out with a friend's flatmate for most of that time (he's gonna kill me when he sees this).

Went to Jet til 5:30am-ish, and caught a taxi home. In bed at 6:30am.

I have stamps all over my arm, a graffitid shirt, and the mental agility of a stapler. TTYL, I'm off to meet pickle for lunch.

So yeah, as David stated I went with him to see the Misfits of Science (And there was also these guys called the Wanderers, who weren't that good, but had some talent nonetheless.). Misfits 0wned all.

I couldn't drink due to anti-biotics, but had a good night on the pepsi and water. So then we gapped to Coyotes and I put up with the average music there and hooked up with the flatmate of Daves friend, basically mucked about with her until about 5 o'clock, when we went looking for her flatmate so she could get home. After that I returned to my pad and went to sleep at about 6:30. Got up at 10 and haven't felt the slightest bit of fatigue today.
