But xconcepts has some problems that i would not like to talk publicly. I Will soon bring my skills from that crappy 1.43 scale to the bigger scale. Just a matter of time before i start. :evillol:

Modifiers are one of the most controversial model subjects. The quality was good for the price the first couple series, then the quality began to dwindle. I think they're still sort of cool to have sitting around on my piers because of the size they are. I liked the smaller stuff.

Modifiers arent that bad, its the people that come with them. Thats why I quit.

Truely I don't think Mike is the king, I think he is great at welding ( that hot rod is looking pretty damn realistic.) I think importsupra had more respect then out of all those preteens, Yes Xconcepts has a problem. Like mike said first few ser were great then they just decided to go cheap. One thing is that if you want respect now you will haft to do more then a convertable or atleast make it clean. Probably in 2002 that would of been MODGOD material.

THink you took me wrong, I'm a newb at all this, i'm not saying this proj/ kicks ass, this is my 1st one, so I dont expect everyone to love it & think its the best, because, well, ITS NOT, Now, which side skirts look better?

I've had modifiers since 2002, They were pretty good till other companies came out with more, better, detailed Die cast's/modelkits.(tuner wise that is) In other words, to some people, the quality & Realism isnt great.(the price says it all) Ive detailed them Head to Toe, and just got tired of em. Ive seen Better quality 1.43 cars then modifiers, just too damn expensive for the size i think. If i wanted to, i could make a Detailed modifier, i just dont have the intrest anymore :headshake

Back on the topic....
The Converible Integra, Should have some sort of theme to it, other than a convertible.(boring looking) Since its a convertible, i would go with a Highly detailed LowRider theme, with some sort of Kandy Paint. Some Aftermarket Chrome wheels, and Droped.(my oppinion) Just my 2cents

Chrome wheels - I have 3 sets , Candy paint - Either red or orange w/ flake , Dropping it, other than screwing the screws all the way down, no idea...

Modifiers are awesome in their own little way, whether we like it or not we all know it, sure it's hard working on such a small car, but what are peoples reactions when it looks absolutly awesome?, stunned and awestruck, so all I say is the modifiers dont suck, I just think people arent to good with the small details and hate people who are good with it. Just my two cents.
Now back to the subject on hand, Making a Modifier lay frame is a challenge all it's own. With the cars your gonna have to use a dremmel, alot, requires lots of cutting and trimming, but when you get it right, it looks good. Good Luck. :D

Primeing, What grit of sand paper should i use? I just primed my Acura & now it needs sanding ^^
