Crankshaft gear????

ok, here is my problem, I was putting my d16a6 back together after the rebuild, I had everything back together, then i went to put the Crankshaft gear back on, well it is suppose to fit snug, but it went on easily and it spins freely around the shaft. I dont know if they may have given me the wrong crankshaft when i ordered it, or am i just missing something. i also tried the gear from my d15, and it was the same problem. please help ASAP, casue i need my car back.

I know, I have been really buisy with Tech-school and work lately, havent had much time for anything



but, yes i have tried putting the key back in, but the gear has a built in one on the inside, and the key from what i can tell is mainly to keep the pully in place, The only thing i can think of is, the rebuilt crankshaft i bought, the person who did it may have turned the shaft down on acedint(dumbass mistake) or they sent me one for the wrong year, but i would have though all d series would be the same. I am goin to go to the Auto parts stor tommorrow to see what they can do, if they cant do anythin, I will have to get a bushing or something like that made so it will fit, cause i am not goin to break the whole engine back down to switch the crankshaft. If someone can think of anything else please let me know, cause it is really startin to piss me off.

yeah, all the same series should be the same, cant think of why anyone would turn down the end of it unless it was horably fucked up before. maby the parts place can help you out.
