what about a LT1/T56 with 4.10's and street legal slicks? btw, anyone know a good place to find some rubber to burn for cheap, or some high quality street radials for not a million bucks?

An LT1 with 4.10 gears and slicks could run a mid to high 13's seeing as how stock for stock they can run low 14's with a good launch and everything else going the drivers way.

Why does the thread ask about a z28 but the question is about a sixer?
Anyway anyone have any ideas what a 97 v6 auto would run stock? and how about going from stock 2.73 gears up to 3.42s?
