there's a bunch o crazies out there...

last night, heading to the mall to pick up my girl, i was going down a 3 lane highway that turns into two... well i was in the far left and there was a guy beside me at a light in a convertable chrystler (don't ask me what kind it was... i don't know much of these cars) but anyway, the light turns green and he floors it... i'm like "we were racing?" so i putt - putt to the next light (cause i knew it was going to be red) and i roll down my window and he goes "i smoked you!" i was like wtf? i go "um.. whatever, you really want to go?" and he goes "i already won, but sure"

idiot..

well the light goes green and i get a good head start on him... I see that he kept a good pace on me but just couldn't get past my rear door. i can hear his engine rev, and by the next light (which was green) i had good 2 or 3 cars on him. i give him a thumbs up (being nice an all) and he swirves into my lane behind me and i make the turn to go to the mall... well he starts following me, riding my bumper. I start going faster. I get into the mall parking lot (it's closed, but there's still cars there) i end up turning off my lights and find a hiding spot (i am no hero) and he circles the darn place three times looking for me. He gives up and drives off literally when my girl comes out the exit doors (can't be letting her know i race btw) and goes 'what's his problem?'
i shrug and open the door for her and drop her at her house.

lesson is...
not everyone on the streets racing is as calm and collective as us here... some ppl are just crazy... just my :2cents:
