Does NEbody know if they are planning on making the G35x in Coupe w/ 6spd tranny... the AWD sounds awesome but not in the current platform offered(4dr/auto)? Thank you...

I prefer rwd

y, do u think that RWD is so much better then AWD? On the 1/4 at high hp AWD would smoke a RWD due to the fact that the RWD would have problems hooking up...
AWD is also easier to handle...

so that's why top fuel dragster's use awd?

Well for beginers the G35 is not a top fuel dragster nor will it ever be and hence for the vehicle at hand (being the G35 or 350z) AWD would be best...
Now to answer your question... at that high of hp the center differential would snap... and posibly so would the front axle...

Actually... the AWD in the G35x (in all Skyline GTR's for that matter) is not true AWD...

If awd is the way to go then why did it get dropped from the JGTC Skyline

Because the system weighs more... extra weight is not something you want when your trying to shave seconds in a race! :loser:

The only reason he wants rwd is so he can show off to his friends and do burn-outs, when awd will give you better handling in corners, 0-60, and 1/4times its a known fact

thank you for backing me on this, I was just making sure that I wasnt halucinating...
As far as the comment " Actually... the AWD in the G35x (in all Skyline GTR's for that matter) is not true AWD..." thats waht I have come to realize, but I have a question regarding that... is it still better for the reasons stated above then 2wd?
I am a strong beleiver in AWD due to the fact that I used to own a 3kgt VR4(mitsubishi) and drove a friends SL model(non AWD/AWS) and could totally tell the difference...
