exhaust valves

anybody ever burn up exhaust valves running long tubes and 3" pipes on an otherwise stock motor? cuz this is what i have now... i drove it all the way home and got on it a bunch of times, no problems. pretty warm day. i figure i won't have problems but wanted to double check. thanks.
