'90 535 door lock

My son's car won't lock. The driver door lock button appeared to be bent toward the outside. I could bend it straight but that did not fix the problem.

Looks like i'll have to pull the door panel and see what's going on.

I found a thread with rear door panel removal help but i'm wondering if there is info on the front door.
