Z24 Problems??

I recently got an 88 cavalier z24 convertible, 2.8L, 5 speed. It is in great shape form what I can tell but......

After the engine warms up, the oil pressure guage drops when it is idling, the the shifter seems a little stiff, and the steering seems a bit loose.
Anybody have any ideas as to what all could be wrong??

teh low oil pressure at idle is normal for a high mileage car. The stiff shifter might be a shift cable needing lube, or low fluid in the trans. Make sure you add the right fluid, GM used two different 5speeds, and they use different fluid. The loose steering is either a worn out tie rod, or the bushings at the rack are bad.

I still have not had the chance to check the shift cables but there is a bad bushing on the inner tie rod. I have a replacement bushing but I can not get the tie rod off the car to fix it.
