Well i'm in a pickle... my 99GS engine died while on the highway at 75mph. It just died, no warning. All the needles went to zero. No check engine light. I coasted off the road and tried to restart it. It turns over fine, but it doesn't even try to start. Any ideas? I am going to check for spark as soon as i grab some tools to go back to it. There's no CEL even when i turn the key on without trying to start it, I know it used to come on when i turn the key on, but now i notice thats something different. Every car i own the light comes on when you turn the key on until you start it, i made sure of that... so any suggestions would be awesome!

The battery could be low, maybe.
Or you could be out of gas
Listen for a whine from your fuel pump when you turn the key to on, If that happens then make sure you have enough juice from your battery. Might not be charging right.

i found out it's a blown main engine 30A fuse. I replaced it with another 30A and it blew as soon as i plugged it in. Obviously there is a short somewhere, i just have to track it down.

if that 30 amp fuse is for your fuel pump/system then you need a new fuel pump... neons and the non turbo eclipses have had that problem before! it happens to my buddy once a year, replaces the pump and it works just fine. sucks that he has to replace it every year but it works!

it's not marked fuel pump, it's marked "Engine". I need to track down what is all on that circuit.
