It might be a repost because I've heard its a common problem, but my drivers side power window stops working sometimes. And as luck would have it, it stopped working during a rain storm right as I was about to race a WRX (i won regardless). should I expect the same from my passenger side to? I think it might be the motor, if so would it be alright to liberate one from another camaro or is it a GM problem. thanks

It’s the window motor. Don’t even bother changing the switch. Our windows are so heavy the motor goes out quickly.

sounds like a motor problem to me, but i wouldnt be too quick to disregard the switch idea. see if you can check the switch with a multimeter...

your welcome but like Chevyracincamaro said check the switch first with a multimeter...
I use to know of a window motor that buick sold for one or their cars that rolled the window up and down twice as fast but can't remember what year and make it was from... The motor was a direct fit for the camaro/transam... If I remember I'll post it...

um..... why??? lexan is lighter, but oh so cheap and flimsy feeling, and very prone to swirl type scratching, if the car is a dayly driver, then leave it glass, if its gonna be track car lexan is ok. scratch that, if you drive it on the road at all, stick with glass.
