Window Tint Job

I just got my windows tinted the other day and I think that it looks cool as all hell. Can I get your opinions..?

I think with this tint job and the color of my car really makes this stand out. :biggrin:

About 200.. i was going to do it myself, but I wouldnt want to risk screwing it up.

Yeah, doing it yourself can be a b!+ch. I've helped a few friends do it, and all I can say is I'm glad mine was already tinted when I bought it. I like the mirror tint on the pearl...that looks really good. Did you tint the rear windshield too, or just the sides?

it looks like its silverish at the bottom and then darkens to black towards the top of the window. is that how it is or is it just the light?

yeah the bottom is a chrome, kinda like a mirror, and then it fades up into a really dark black. here are a few more pictures... hope that these can give you a little bit of a better look of the tint.. (just went out and took them)

And yeah, I wouldn't do it myself because I see some cars with like tinted windows but it has like air pockets all over the place....that's hella UGLY!!! LOL

with me, I am not fond of that type of tint. I like the regular old dark windows (like mine -- in sig)

Dude, I love the look of the tints, nice as hell! one thing though, is the roof of your car black?!?! is it that the Stealth comes like that or you had it painted black? hell you know what, let me see a picture of the whole car! you got me interested in what it looks like now.

The top of it is black, but I didnt paint it. It came that way.. Here are a few more pictures that I have. I need to start getting some really good pictures. Some of the pictures are good, hope you can see what you are trying to see of my car. My mom says with the tint job it looks like the 'night rider' car.. whatever that means. I might go with that as a nick name for my car.. :worshippy

on my 3sgt i still have my stock forest green paint and i really love the color green ....and ive been wanting to tint my windows because my last car was dark as shit..and im missing it like that...but the other day i saw someone with green tint...and i was thinking ...i wonder how well a dark green car wtih green tint would look..would it look retarted and overkill..but im thinking everyone has black tint..but in my town not one person i know has any colored tint.. so id be noticed everywhere.. so guys what do you think.. should i go for the green tint or black...and if i go black i cant do anything darker than 35% and the green im looking at is 32% too

well, I dont know 3000star, I saw a red focus with a c-west body kit and red tints and it looked awsome to me, but its all about personal taste, some will say its ricey, some will love it. I think the idea of a green 3s w/green tints is cool. it certainly is defferent from all the other 3kgts out there.

ive seen 35% on a car and its light as sh*t. u can see right through it anytime of the day or night...i think getting it that light is completely pointless..the lightest i would get is 20

ya Musashi3000GT i think green tint with the green paint maybe a lil out there and extreme...but its a 3000GT thats what you gotta do with them , make um extreme.hahaha..and thre3kgt811 ya it will be a bit light. but if it is you can double it up and make a 35% get to be like a 25% or 30% but i think ima have to do it man... i just love green and got to rock it..and in nov for my bd green underbody kit ....hell ya

im not really a fan of that type of tint but its cool. i am more of regular dark tint person.

Yeah dude, if your going to go with a tint job to make your car stand out more.. then you would defidently want to go with green, but not so light because that would just be a waste of money. Take it to atleast 30% mine from the chrome goes to a 15% so its pretty damn dark.

look at my sig and see my car video. My side windows are 30% and my rear is 15%

alright guys im getting my paycheck this monday.. so ima head over to advance and pick me up some green tint and some of that tint soap . as for now im just gonna tint the two big side windows and the two lil windows in the back... and i might do the rear window if i realy like how things turned out but thats gonna be more like a 3 man job right there..and if anyone things that ima fuck up my windows cus im doing it myself dont worry ive done plenty of tint jobs..i dont ever get bubbles or water cracks...and could someone tell me how to put pictures up ..cus i dont know how and i know some of yall wanna know how it turned out. thanx .

Go with the black, green would look tacky.

But it'd be origional at least IMO. I've not seen a 3kgt done up like that, and being the beautiful cars that they are it's not going to be a hangup

I like cosmetic touches to be subtle so that you know there's something different or special but can't quite define what it is.

True, I suppose I just find this to be a more subtle difference than a body kit or flashy rims which is much of the appeal for me. I like the sleeper approach more anyways :P

If it was increadibly lightly tinted like those Gucci "sun" glasses you see paris hiltion wearing, with just a little bit of shine that would be good but it would have to be barely noticable for me to like it.
