The low side access is usually near the reciever-dryer, which is located low in front on the driver's side, like to the right of the radiator as you look at the front of the car. The fitting you want is probably in that area.

it's just behind the battery, removing the air filter box will help you get to it.

I was close. Haven't had to charge one yet.

richtazz, thanks I found it, but let me say that you haft to take off the air filter box to get to that port because the air filter box sits directly on top of that port, the one you can see without removing the air filter box is just the bubble gauge that shows how much refrigerant it has already.

my ac blows somewhat colder air but it is not as cold as it used to be -- could it need another can of refirgerant or is there something else that could cause the A/C to blow air that is just slighlty colder than the air outside the car

If you were getting no cooling before adding, and it is better not but still not sufficient, it might need another. Dead empty they take at least 3. If it seems there is no change since adding, you might wanna stop. I usually hold the can upside down and accelerate the motor slightly, and if it needs it, it will draw it in fast once the compressor engages.
