no man, they came with the car and it was a custom job.. you'd never know cause the guy did a sweet ass job.. the bulb is still amber but thats ok.. i'm not about to rice this thing out.. i took the wing off to remove the riceyness.. now its a 240 with an intake and 300zx front brakes.. soon to have KYB AGX'S w/ eibach sportlines and sleepy eyes courtesy of the pivot headlight controller

first of all, you dont need to buy a pivot headlight controller, just pop your hood and spin some knobs
second, KYB and Eibach both suck ass, avoid those

On another note, if you really want to handle good, get some 18x7.5 Tenzo wheels, and put some blown shocks on it, then it will handle like a dream :naughty:

aww.. its all ruined because of the shit... well, i guess i can't get that sr redfc3s suggested.. and i'm also a little down since i'm getting shitty suspension.. but maybe i'll throw the headlight controller out the window.. i'd MUCH rather have to open my hood every evening when the sun starts to go down!!



take it easy man i just got the car less than 2 months ago. what i bought is just fine and i'm sure there's other people out there that agree. the shocks might not be top of the line but they'll do the trick and for the controller, yeah, basically i don't wanna be adjusting my headlights everyday

I don't really like them, they are more of a comfort show piece

SR's SUCK fuck that shit LOL, don't get it just cause everyone says its good and to be part of the in crowd. People who really are serious about going faster would mod a fucking geo motor to go fast, you can really tell the posers and what not that are always so gung ho to swap in a SR20.

get COILOVERS that's all I gotta say. I was goin to go the eibach sportlines and kyb shocks route also, but instead got myself a set of D2/K-sports. They are nice, and handle really well.

you can rig up a ghetto headlight controller. You run speakerwire to and from the powerwire to the popup motor, and wire it to a kill switch. Then you pop your lights, and hit the switch right away to kill the motor power, so it stops going up halfway. It's mad ghetto but lots of people do it to avoid the $70 pivot controller. :)

i have tokico hp's ("blues") on my car with tanabe gf210 springs. its a great set-up and tanabe is supposed to be coming out with adjustable shocks soon (if there not out already).

well i've already ordered everything and it has all been shipped.. so whatever.. i'm sure i'll be happier with my new suspension than what i have now.. its brutal.. as long as it handles better then i'm happy.. and i highly doubt it'll be worse :dunno:
