Loud "clunk"

My vision's a 1994 tsi with the 3.5 liter. I have this loud clunk that happens when I back out of the driveway and turn left or right. Sometimes it happens when I take a corner fast. It seem to be coming from the right side. I replaced the struts a few months ago and the right lower control arm yesterday. I though that the ball joint might to be to blame. Nope! I still have the problem and I can't see any suspension parts, in the wheelwell, that are loose. I'm at a loss and the thing sounds like it coming apart. Also, I have this vibration now at about 60 to 70 mph on the freeway. It, too, is on the right.

Any ideas??

Have you found the fix for this problem?

I just got through that problem and I had to replace the engine mounts. Mine use to happen when I backed up or accelarated or decelarated. Replaced the mounts and that problem went away.

'for the vibration it might be the engine mount /start the car step on the brake place car in drive and have someone or look at engine the front will raise up with accleration down with decelaration if they are bad they will cause vibration at that speed.but this does not get rid of that clunk
