Car stalled????

When I was driving earlier, it was raining pretty bad. I was driving my 1995 Eclipse RS automatic, and came to a stop light.... the car died. I quickly turned the ignition on again and it started.... i was wondering what would cause this... the cel never came on..... and i haven't had any problem with this car so far.... since it died while it was on drive, would that ruin any part of the car??? thank you

depends how fast you where going, chances are nothing got damaged, but if you had enought speed and you car stalled while in drive, you may have damaged the gear it was in. Thats just what i think logically, but then again i am not to fimiliar w/ auto transmissions. If your car runs fine, dont worry about it

I came to a complete stop, then the car stalled. I was wondering if anybody's car stalled because of the rain???

what's your idel speed at right now. if it's anything lower than 700 it might be your TPS, dirty throttle body or most likely ISC. a bad ISC (bad circuitry or simply busted ISC) can easily cause stall at the light.

when you turn on your AC, does the rev jump up?
does your idle surge up and down sometimes?
