My 1990 suburban 4x4 1/2 t rides rough and feels very light in the front, It oversteers easily. Seems to sway or shift weight on corners. I have put new shocks all around. Can anyone give me advice on what to do to make this truck ride smoother and gentler???
Thanks

The first thing you need to look at is the ball joints and tie rods. if they are good then the camber/cadter is off!!

thanks for reply and info. I have checked all the steering system including gearbox as well and fixed as needed. It seems to me the front end is light and perhaps the rear suspension has sagged with time and sits low thereby raising the front end giving it a light feeling. I wonder if replacing the rear leaf spring assemblies would raise it back to standard height and eliminate the problem??

Did you check the sway bar bushings??
the front end of a truck will not get lighter from spring sag!
Do you have a lot of stuffin the rear of the truck??
